Plunger Lift Anomaly: Miscalibrated Sensor

Miscalibrated Sensor

Ambyint’s Platform is designed to flag anomalies in well behavior and operating conditions enabling users to identify deviations which could result in incorrect optimization responses, production lost/deferred, or a more costly operational issue.  The anomaly detection components of Ambyint’s InfinityPL leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to recognize patterns in the data much like any production engineer would while performing recurring well surveillance.

Misclibrated Sensor - The Miscalibrated Sensor anomaly is designed to identify when one or more sensors are reporting values that don’t align with expected physical behavior, such as negative pressures, unrealistically high readings, or pressure relationships that defy normal well physics (e.g. TP exceeding CP). These types of issues often indicate a sensor calibration problem, which can impact automation and optimization. The Ambyint platform continuously checks for these inconsistencies and flags any suspected miscalibrations, helping ensure decisions are based on accurate, reliable data.
